She graduated from San Diego High School just before the start of WWII. She married Cliff Thompson and they moved to their forever home in Lakeside. They have 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. During this time she was also one of the early founders of the Grossmont School District Credit Union. After retiring, she continued friendships with San Diego High alums as well as Grossmont work colleagues with monthly get-togethers. She passed away peacefully at home September 4, 2019 .
