Obituary for Robert Revetta

Robert Revetta
Robert Anthony Revetta, 73, passed away unexpectedly on March 5th. He had recently been diagnosed with a heart condition and passed away at home.

A 1966 graduate of El Cajon High School, Rob joined and proudly served for 3 years in the United States Army, and received an honorable discharge with the rank of Sergeant. Rob worked for a time as Foreman at San Onofre and Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plants. However, the majority of his career was at the Operations Division of San Diego Unified School District. Upon retirement he used his considerable skills in the daily maintenance and operations of the El Cajon Elks Lodge 1812, of which Rob had been a member since 1969. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, cruises to Mexico, tinkering with his hot rod, and spending time with family & friends. A great story-teller, quick to laugh or joke, Rob brought a positive life energy to everyone who knew him.

Rob leaves behind his sister, Nancy Padget and is survived by his son, Mark Revetta, daughter Christine Revetta-Myette, and two grandsons, Garhett and Brett Revetta. The family asks that any donations made in Rob’s honor go towards Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Santee, CA.
