Obituary
William Henry Slaff, age 82, passed away on December 30, 2022, surrounded by his
children.
William is survived by his Children, William H Slaff Jr., James Slaff-Gruel, Lori Slaff and
Charles Victor Slaff and Lily Beth Curtis, his nieces, Lynnae Salois and Stephanie Klatt and
nephew Steven Slaff. He is also survived by his 4 Stepchildren, Bill Rose, Suzi Cydell-
Benson, Daniel Rose and Sheryl Farris, 24 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
As a veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country in the United States Air Force and
retired in 1980 with the rank of Master Sargent. During his days of service, he has earned
numerous metals, recommendations, and accommodations. After his retirement from the
Air Force, he served his country again by going into civil service working with the Navy until
his retirement. After, he worked as a volunteer with the Border Patrol, held a public office
position in Campo Ca. and was active with the VFW.
He and his wife, Nancy, loved to travel and instilled their love of travel in all of us. His
favorite places were LA Bay Mexico, Convict Lake, White Mountain, their property in AZ and
Hawaii.
