I was so sad to hear about Warren passing. Although I hadn’t seen him in a couple of years, I was so happy to know that he had made it to becoming a supervisor at UCSD. He never gave up and kept fighting for earning the position he justly deserved. Not only did he persevere with his own goals, but he fought for the rights of service workers. I can still see him marching down Villa La Jolla to La Jolla Village Drive during one of our epic strikes! And the captivating and entertaining conversations we had about art, music, film and all sorts of interesting things in life. Thank you Warren for the time you shared in my life and so many others’ You will be missed dearly. Christine Gonzalez
