Waleed Khalid Elia Al Hadad, age 55, was called home to be with the Lord on the morning of November 4, 2020. He is survived by his loving parents Khalid and Salma Hadad; his son Ayad and his wife Farah Hadad; his sister Fatin and her husband Mazin Philip Khalaf; his sister Hala and her husband Mahir Majed Asker; and his sister Rawaa and her husband Waleed Ibraheem Qudso. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Waleed was born on November 15, 1965 in Kirkuk, Iraq where he grew up in the family's house before moving to Baghdad with his own family.

Waleed earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Material Engineering from the University of Technology. He was working with his father and brother in the Aluminum trading business until he immigrated to the United States in 2010.

Waleed was a loving and dedicated son, brother, relative, and friend who truly cherished spending time and getting involved with his parents and sibling's families. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who share such fond memories of him.

The Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 11th, 2020 at 11:00 am in St. Peter Chaldean Catholic Cathedral 1627 Jamacha Way El Cajon, CA 92019, with Graveside Services to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery located at 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA.
