Obituary for Vicki Lynn Bradley

Vicki Lynn Bradley, 66, of Goodyear, AZ passed away suddenly on July 14 in Coronado, CA; her heaven on earth, while on vacation surrounded by her family. Vicki leaves her partner of 46 years, Stephen Bradley, her children Heather Campbell (Brian) of Terre Haute, IN., Justin Bradley (Leslie) of Mesa, AZ., and Amanda Bradley (Mark Samely) of Phoenix, AZ. Her grandchildren Tyler, Anthony and Sean Hively, Brendon Campbell, Jordan Bradley and Noah Bradley. Vicki is survived by her mother M Della Thompson of Garnett, KS., and her sister, Alana (Lani) Clarke (Rodney) of Basehor, KS. Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Allen W. Thompson and her sister, Sandra (Sandee) Coppage. Vicki was, first and foremost, deeply devoted to her family. She played a significant role in her grandkids' life and was instrumental in bringing them into this world by being present in the delivery room for all of their births. Vicki had a gift for making family and friends during the holidays, birthdays, and all other celebrations feel warmly welcomed as if they were part of the family. Feasts she prepared for these occasions were as if they were catered from the finest restaurants. Vicki was opinionated and would let you know it whether you asked for her opinion or not. She was enthusiastic in pursuing life. Her battle to stay in this world for her family lasted for over ten years while fighting cancer. When diagnosed, she was given 6 to 12 months to live. Vicki’s response to the doctors in the only experimental program available was, "We will just see about that!" (Yes, she could be stubborn!) The morning of her passing, Vicki said she was going home to see her dad and her sister, Sandee. Although we were not ready for her to go, it's as if she knew her Angel wings were ready. Vicki is now in heaven playing Yatzee with Sandee, Aggravation with her Dad and playing Bingo. Vicki’s passion was her ability to make everyone feel welcome in her home and her legacy is the love she had for her family and friends.

Family and Friends are invited to a Memorial and Celebration of her life to be held at 11:00am on August 10th, at the Mesa Baptist Church, 2425 S Alma School Rd, Mesa, AZ.
