Olivia was born on December 25th, 1938 in San Diego, California to Antonino & Margaret Sanfilippo. She was the youngest of five children, grew up in Little Italy, attended Washington Elementary, Roosevelt Jr High, and graduated from San Diego High school in 1956. In 1994, she retired from Cubic Corporation.

She met and married the love of her life, Mike Gibbons on December 31st, 1975 where their blended families grew to eight children.

In 1995, she and dad moved to Long Island, New York for one year and then Tullahoma, Tennessee for seven years where she acclimated very well to “Southern Living.” Mom and dad loved traveling and visited 46 of our 50 states, Sicily, Italy, England, France, and Spain. In Sicily, she was thrilled to see the homes where both her mother and father were born. They shared 43 wonderful years together with many priceless memories.

Mom was very dedicated to her family and she developed many lifelong friendships wherever she went.

She will be deeply missed, but will forever live in our hearts.

Preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Stacey. Survived by husband Mike; children, Margaret Killion (Mark), Kathy Silva (Jim), Christina Boehme (Mike), Olivia (Lovey) Rodriguez (Greg), Mark Gibbons, Greg Gibbons (Cheryl), Debbie Gibbons, Robin Hounslow (Mark); grandchildren, Andy Phillips, Andrea Boehme, Chrissy Khoury (Karl), Olivia West, Vanessa Silva, Nichole Cruz (Kyle), Christopher Rodriguez (Danielle), Ashley Rodriguez, Patrick Gibbons, Jonathan Gibbons, James Gibbons, Kayley Gibbons, Claire Hounslow, Connor Hounslow, Bryce Krueger, Brandon Krueger; Great Grandchildren, Victoria Tapia, Giuliana Khoury, Ava Khoury, Emery Rodriguez, Stella Rodriguez, Maia West, Landen Krueger.
