Obituary for Miguel Ramirez
On Tuesday, September 22, 2020, Miguel Lopez Ramirez, loving husband, brother, father of three children, and grandfather of 16 grandchildren, passed away at the age of 70, while peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Miguel was born on November 30, 1949 in Jalisco Mexico to Francisco Ramirez and Cenorina Lopez. In 1974 Miguel married Petra Baltierrez, in Sonora, Mexico. They were married for 26 years and had three children, Gloria, Emmanuel, and Miguel. He met his current wife Rosa Albertson in 2000, and they spent the remainder of his life together.
Miguel had several great passions, mainly, carpentry, cooking, and wood carving. He also enjoyed collecting wooden statues and coins. He was an experienced carpenter who enjoyed building things. He was also an amazing cook. Miguel loved people very much. He would never decline when asked to do a favor for anyone. He would spend as much time as he could around his kids and grandkids. Miguel was extremely kind and had a very compassionate spirit about him.
Miguel was preceded in death by his father Francisco, his mother Cenorina, his brother Francisco, his sister Maria, and his daughter Gloria. He is survived by his wife Rosa, his children Emmanuel, and Miguel, and his sister Josefina Ramirez de Mada.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 10:30AM-11:30AM, and a funeral service from 11:30AM-12:30PM, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1701 Granite Hills Dr., El Cajon, CA. 92019. The burial will be held at 1:00PM at Singing Hills Memorial Park, 2800 Dehesa Rd., El Cajon, CA. 92019.
