Obituary for Mary Falk
On Tuesday March 2, 2021 Mary Falk ( Habaj) loving sister passed away in San
Diego CA at the age of 75.
Mary was born in Manchester to Dominick and Elizabeth ( McGranaghan) Habaj.
She graduated from St. Joseph’s High School for girls in 1963. And stayed in touch
with most of her classmates especially Corky .
Mary married Barry Falk in 1980 and lived in Sarasota Fl. until Barry passed in
2013.Mary retired from the Banking industry and moved to San Diego to be close
to her sister Kathleen and extended family. Mary loved her family and her
beloved dogs. She had a special place in her heart for long haired dachshunds.
Mary loved going to Hampton Beach and visited her hometown often.
Mary will be remembered for her bright and warm smile and her ability to “never
meet a stranger”. Mary was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth and her father
Dominick and her husband Barry, also from Manchester.
She is survived by her sister Kathleen living in San Diego and her brother Edward
still in Manchester, and several nieces and nephews, and a beautiful daughter
Kathy whom she re-united with around 8 years ago. She also became friends with
Kathy’s adoptive mother Donna, and they shared in the joy of Kathy’s life
together. Kathy lives in Nebraska with her husband Jeff and three beautiful
daughters. A beautiful legacy of love from Mary.
A Celebration of Life was held on March 12, 2021 at St. Therese of Carmel Catholic
Church in San Diego.
