Maria Teresa Curlee went to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Sharp Grossmont
Hospital, with her family by her side. She was 73.

She was born to the late Miguel and Andrea Villagrana in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico, and she was
preceded in death by her loving husband, Landis; her brother David Villagrana; and her sisters, Martha
Villagrana, Graciela Villagrana, and Raquel Villagrana.

She is survived by her daughter Lilian, her son-in-law Brian, her grandsons Jacob and Jared, and by her
siblings Miguel Angel, Rosario, Luz Maria, and Alicia, and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her
very much.

Teresa was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, her church, and her community. She was a
caring and compassionate home health care worker, beloved by many of her patients. She was heavily
involved with the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, performing many good deeds throughout the community.
She was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind many beautiful memories.

A funeral service will be held at Miramar National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at
10:15a.m., 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego, CA 92122.
