Obituary for Esther Tudara

On January 31, 2021 Esther Natalia Gomez Tudara passed away at the age of 99 peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico and came to the United States after meeting and marrying our father in the early 1950’s. She lived most of her life in Chula Vista and was well known and loved in the community. Esther was the mother of seven children, survived by five, three sons and two daughters and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Despite her large family She always made time for everyone. She always provided her love and support for each and every one of us. She was always a very elegant, classy and beautiful woman. Esther had a great sense of humor, making us all laugh with her stories and jokes. She worked hard and was very independent. She instilled those values in her family. Over the years she took in and raised many of her grandchildren and tried to teach them the best in life.
She loved gardening and would spend lots of time caring for her rose gardens and fruit trees, they never went thirsty. She loved to cook and would create the most delicious meals. Our family will be able to cherish those recipes forever. She was the one who doctored us and made us feel better when we were hurt or not feeling well, with her natural herbs and homeopathic remedies.
Esther extended her noble heart to many people. She was loving, caring and at times stern but it made us who we are now.
Even though she will not be with us physically, her heart and soul and the warm memories of her loving presence will always be with us and in our hearts and thoughts.
Esther, our Mom, sister, grandmother, great grandmother aunt and friend and our everything will be truly and dearly missed.
