Dale Alan Beat, 60, of Alpine, CA, passed away on February 11, 2023, from Respiratory Failure. He is survived by his two daughters: Allison Guzman (Lakeside, CA) and Erin Miller (El Cajon, CA), four grandchildren: Silas, Quinn, Blake, and Maeve, his mother: Margaret Petersen (Alpine, CA), three siblings: Debby Fuson (Port Angeles, WA), Dennis Beat (Iron Station, NC), David Beat (Alpine, CA), stepmother: Roberta Beat (Carlsbad, CA), and stepsister Barbara Adgate (Carlsbad, CA). He was predeceased by his father, James Beat, in March 2022.



Dale was born in Medina, Ohio, and moved to San Diego with his family in 1964. He worked in Residential Construction as a Carpenter for many years, before becoming disabled from Type 1 Diabetes. Dale never let his disease get in the way of doing what he loved and helping others. He was a strong man with such a kind heart.



In his younger years, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and beach cruiser, going on desert and river trips with family and friends, and working on race cars at El Cajon Speedway with his brothers. He also enjoyed spending time with his daughters throughout the years, and most recently, really cherished the time he got with his grandchildren. He was known for his enthusiastic, yet exaggerated stories, his humor, for being free spirited, and for being "Mr. Fix-It.". Dale will remain forever in our hearts, and will be greatly missed.
