Carlos Rodriguez, age 70, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2020 in San Diego.

He is survived by:
His wife of 42 years, Martha Rodriguez
His 4 children; Carlos Rodriguez III, Lisa Rodriguez, Vanessa Reyna, and Jacob Rodriguez
His 8 wonderful grandchildren; Julian, Kenzie, Carmen, Avian, Sammy, Carlitos, Kendyl, and Daniel.

He was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, tata and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by:
His mother, Maria Cruz
His father, Carlos Rodriguez
& His sister Sylvia Mata.

As a veteran, he served in the Vietnam war 1970-1971 in the army artillery. There he ran convoys to the fire support bases. After serving almost 3 years he was then discharged with honors. After leaving the army he worked as a Carpenter for 10 years. In 1983, he became an Aircraft Machinist at North Island Naval Air Station and retired there after 25 years.

He loved being with his friends and family going bowling and fishing. He will be missed very much by this family and friends.

The funeral services will be private and he will be buried at Miramar Cemetery.
