So sorry to learn about Bonnie.
I met Bonnie when she sat behind me in one of my classes at Dana Jr. High. She asked if I could dance and if I would teach her. I went to her house and she had a record of Tutti Frutti by Pat Boone. I told her we'd have to get the Little Richard version. From then on Bonnie and I were inseparable. We did everything together.
I remember the time Bonnie, Diane Sexton and I rode with Terry Uhl ( he had the drivers license and car) Mission Beach late at night. Suddenly the grunion started running. We didn't know much about them but we heard they were good to eat. We all ran around picking them up. Since we didn't have anything to put them in, I folded up the Hem of my sweater and put them there. We all drove back to Bonnie's house and tried to figure out how to cook them. They were too small to clean so we just fried them. I don't remember how they tasted but my mom was really mad about my sweater.
After Bonnie moved from Point Loma we slowly drifted apart
But I always counted Bonnie as my friend. I am so glad that I got to see her again.
I lost my husband 7 years ago but he is still with me always. Bonnie will always be with you also.
She was a special person and a special friend.

My deepest sympathy to the Winkler Family. Bonnie did my Mothers hair for many years and they were very close. She was a great gal. She will be missed.
